Many jurisdictions contain legal restrictions on raffles, sweepstakes, or other giveaways, including restrictions on giveaways that are run online. If you use Eventbrite to create a listing for an event that involves such a giveaway, you are responsible for complying with those restrictions.
You may not create or promote events that constitute or promote raffles, sweepstakes or giveaways that are prohibited by law.<br><br>Certain jurisdictions (such as <a href="https://oag.ca.gov/charities/raffles" target="_self">California</a>) prohibit the sale of raffle tickets online. If your event is located in a jurisdiction where such a prohibition exists, you may not sell raffle tickets on Eventbrite.<br><br>Raffles, sweepstakes, or giveaways that are not part of a live event listed on Eventbrite are also prohibited.<br><br>Violations of this policy may result in listing removal, account suspension, or other restrictions.
