Eventbrite Payment Processing

Eventbrite Payment Processing is the easiest way to take payments online. Here are the benefits:

  • Attendees can stay on Eventbrite or on your website to complete their purchase.

  • The payment processing fees are lower than PayPal's fees and can be included in the ticket price.

  • All fees are collected automatically, so you don't have to worry about monthly invoices.

  • Add your bank account details to receive payouts.

  • Eventbrite is PCI compliant, and your transactions are secure.

  • Accept checks or cash by setting up offline payment options in addition to online payment.

You can use Eventbrite Payment Processing if your bank is located in the following countries:

Depending on the event date and ticket price, certain payment methods may not be available to your ticket buyers. Eventbrite Payment Processing supports most currencies. If you don't see your currency, you can use PayPal to process payments.

PayPal

PayPal gives the option to set up online payments for countries and currencies where Eventbrite Payment Processing isn't available. Before you start, there are a couple of things to consider:

  • PayPal collects payment immediately after a purchase is completed, but it can take a few days for the funds to show in your bank account.

  • Eventbrite sends a monthly invoice to collect the Eventbrite service fees from the previous month’s ticket sales. If you passed the fees onto your attendees, they’re included in your payout from PayPal.

  • The PayPal processing fee varies by country and currency, and is subject to change at PayPal's discretion.

  • Accept checks or cash by setting up offline payment options in addition to online payment.
