Canberra Community Melody Collective (CCMC) T/A Melody Collective is an independent, apolitical, and community based organisation. Our mission is to promote community arts — especially music and performing arts — for the public benefit across the ACT Capital Region.
We believe in the power of music and performance to bring people together, build connections, and celebrate creativity in all its forms.
Our strategic objectives are to:
Empower community creativity through inclusive music and performing arts experiences.
Support local artists with opportunities for development, visibility, and collaboration.
Foster social connection and well-being through shared creative experiences.
Build sustainable partnerships with organisations that share our values in community arts.
We are currently in the process of applying to become a registered charity, with the principal purpose of supporting inclusive, accessible, and community-led creative initiatives. Our vision is to foster a thriving local arts scene where music brings people together and encourages connection, creativity, and shared joy.
