The Record Realm

Establishing his DJ career in 1976 through a deep love for music and art, coming from a family of artists, DJ Kool Emdee has made many contributions to the local arts and music scene by producing and hosting a number of events at venues such as Miller Outdoor Theater, The Continental Club, Heinen Theater, Cullen Theater, and many art galleries, event halls, bars, and clubs around the city.

Emdee also produces and hosts a weekly radio show on KPFT 90.1 FM - Houston, on Fridays from 4 PM - 6 PM Central Standard Time (CST), as well as, is the new production manager for Urban Houston Network (UHN-TV).
