The City of London Archaeological Society

The City of London Archaeological Society (COLAS) was founded in 1966 to encourage an active appreciation of archaeology, particularly within the City of London and its environs. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the history and archaeology of London. COLAS is a Registered Charity (No. 277386), affiliated with the Council for British Archaeology (CBA), London and Middlesex Archaeological Society (LAMAS), and Rescue – The British Archaeological Trust.
