Svitlana Goncharova is a Ukrainian-Canadian watercolor artist who captures the beauty of New Brunswick through her art and professional instruction. With a Master of Arts degree and years of experience in global exhibitions, she helps students of all levels find their creative voice.
The One-Touch Watercolor Method™ Svitlana is the creator of the One-Touch approach—a signature method born from the precision of Ukrainian folk art and the mindful discipline of Eastern painting. This technique focuses on the power of a single, intentional brushstroke. Instead of overworking the paint, you will learn to trust your hand, protect the paper’s natural glow, and capture freshness and life from the very first touch.
What to Expect In my workshops, I teach adults and teens (12+) how to move past the fear of mistakes. We don’t just follow strict rules; we embrace the freedom of letting water and pigment flow. Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned artist, my goal is to help you build confidence, master bold scales (A3+), and fall in love with the daily practice of painting.
Art Career & Mentorship: As a working artist actively selling and exhibiting, I also offer guidance on developing and promoting your own art career. From group workshops in Saint John to private sessions and live painting demos, I am here to share the "magic" of this medium and help you reach your bigger creative goals.
