Scrosoppi Football Club

Named after the great Patron Saint of Footballers, Luigi Scrosoppi, Scrosoppi FC aims to continue his commitment and legacy of bettering the lives of youth through sport. Scrosoppi FC is a privately owned, fully sanctioned soccer club offering programming for youth aged U7 to U17, and high-performance programming for U17+. We are sanctioned to field youth and adult teams under the Peel Halton Soccer Association in Ontario, Canada, and currently hold a League 1 Ontario license, operating Men and Women’s Premier and Championship teams, League 2 and Reserve teams for both Men and Women. League1 Ontario is the province of Ontario’s pro-am, standards-based, senior league. It is a stepping stone between the high-performance youth level and elite amateur and professional levels of the game in Canada's largest province. Their primary focus is to showcase and develop Canada’s future soccer stars and provide an important platform for up-and-coming coaches and match officials to showcase themselves. Scrosoppi FC is owned by Gary and Sara Raulino, who are passionate about providing players with the highest level of training and competition opportunities and offering invaluable experience through the game of soccer.

Their passion has driven them to purchase a professional football club, SC Vianense, in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. After only one year of ownership and operation, the Men’s 1st team was successfully promoted from 4th Division to Liga 3, and their U19s were promoted to Nacional B (Tier 2). Locally, Scrosoppi FC has experienced similar success in a short period of time. In 2022, our U21 Men’s Reserve team finished as Finalists in the League 1 Ontario Reserve Division, and this season, our Men’s Premier team finished 1st place, earning the Regular Season Championship Charity Cup, earning the top seed in the Playoffs. Our U16 Girls were finalists in the Ontario Cup provincial championships. We are a new and growing club, but we have the supportive ownership and knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate technical, administrative, and operational staff to continue to develop the highest-performing and highest-potential players year after year.
