Peaceful Habits

In my role as nature and culture correspondent for St. Martin Parish Tourism, I write about and promote the uniquely rich culture of St. Martin Parish, past and present. My feature articles on the music, cuisine and interesting personalities of this part of the world have appeared in Teche News and on the blog for St. Martin Parish Tourism. In 2023, I performed a reading of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic poem Evangeline in its entirety at Evangeline Oak Park in St. Martinville. In 2024, I have been spotlighting the extraordinary range of musicians of St. Martin Parish. With the new concert series at Duchamp Opera House, my goal is to preserve and promote the musical heritage of our parish.
