Blanka Pesja
Blanka Pesja is a Czech-born, Netherlands-based multidisciplinary artist, poet, and educator whose work bridges music, language, and visual art. A graduate of ARTEZ Art Academy and HKU’s Master of Art Education program, she created the Trimodus lyric-writing method. Through projects such as her experimental collective DarkEnsemble, she explores the interplay of sound, poetry, and performance, while also advocating for women in music and environmental awareness through initiatives like She-Music Int. and Music Declares Emergency (NL). Recently she intitated PHOEBE - HERstory Rising, which is dedicated to reclaiming women’s narratives through creative expression, shared learning, and bold action.
PHOEBE amplifies voices too long unheard and celebrates the strength within every woman’s journey. Through storytelling, mentorship, and community-driven initiatives, we spark courage, nurture wisdom, and champion equality—igniting a rising movement where every HERstory fuels a more just and radiant world.
