Messy WooWoo was founded by Alexandra, a woman who has dedicated over 5 years to building a diverse toolkit she now shares with people who are feeling stuck, burnt-out and alone. A space she has spent a good deal of time in herself.
Alexandra's approach to guiding personal growth journeys combines modern science with ancient spiritual practices to create a balanced and holistic approach to reconnecting the minds, bodies and spirits of those who attend her workshops.
Alexandra's journey began in a space that many of us are familiar with.. low self-worth, a loud inner critic, high anxiety and a constant restlessness that made her feel like if she wasn't "doing" something she had no inherent value. For most of her life, she put others' needs before her own, and her relentless pursuit of perfection to finally feel "good enough" led her to burn-out time and time again. Inevitably, her body and mind reached a point where she was forced to stop and find a new way of being.. that moment began what has become years of education and personal practice that she is now so passionate about sharing with others!
Alexandra uses mindfulness and somatics based practices to spread awareness into the minds and bodies of those she works with. An awareness that allows a new inner dialogue to be written, one that constantly reminds you of all the ways in which you are already good enough. These practices, combined with some basic play, movement, self-reflections, breathwork, meditations and visualisations, allow Alexandra to guide people through the process of cultivating a new internal foundation, one made of love, safety, trust and play.
