At Katika Experiences, we’re passionate about celebrating and uplifting Black-owned businesses while fostering vibrant community connections. Founded as a complementary venture to our innovative technology platform, our mission is to bridge the gap between consumers and local Black entrepreneurs through immersive events and experiences.

Since 2018, we’ve been crafting dynamic events that highlight the richness of Black culture and entrepreneurship. It all began with our renowned Black bar crawls in Philadelphia and Washington D.C., aimed at shining a spotlight on the diverse array of Black-owned bars during traditionally mainstream celebrations like St. Patrick’s Day.

Recognizing the disparity in tourism dollars and narratives, we launched Katika History Tours to offer an alternative, authentic perspective on the historical foundations of our cities and country. This initiative was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from both locals and visitors alike, reshaping the tourism landscape with inclusivity and accuracy.
