Monterey Community Center

Nestled just a short walk from Lake Garfield, the historic Monterey Community Center (MCC) is a vibrant, citizen-built hub for arts, education, wellness, and social connection in Monterey, MA. Housed in the lovingly renovated Wilson-McLaughlin House—a 19th-century farmhouse bequeathed to the town and transformed through the dedication of volunteers and supporters—the MCC officially opened its doors in 2017.

Our gatherings are rooted in community: they’re accessible, welcoming, and designed to showcase local talent and craftsmanship. Whether indoors or under the tent, MCC events invite you to relax, connect, learn something new—or simply enjoy good company in a space that feels like home.
