Jeffrey Crittenden
In 2003, before farm to table was trending, Jeff worked under 3 star Michelin celebrated Chef Alain Ducasse at La Bastide de Moustiers, where every morning the gardener picked up produce from the garden directly 15 ft. away from the kitchen. He then journeyed to Toulouse to work under legendary Chef Dominique Toulousy, Meilleur Ouvrier de France of 1994 (Best Craftsman of France). During the slow seasons when restaurants closed for a few days, Jeffrey travelled to Paris, Nice, Monaco and Italy, to work under notable chefs including Joel Robuchon, Christian Etienne and Alain Llorca. Since his return to Chicago, Jeff has worked at The Four Seasons, The Wit Hotel, The Pump Room and also The Sky-Line. Jeffrey has cooked for celebrities, congressman and senators and some of the elite American Culinary Associations including The American Academy of Chefs. Jeff da Chef provides creative cooking with passion and excellence for a nostalgic experience.
