SpaceDisco
At an early age, watching guns n roses’ paradise city video on MTV, SpaceDisco’s love for music was born. Getting his first guitar at age 11, he taught himself how to play using Metallica tablature books and hours and hours of daily practice. As a teen in the late 90’s he began going to rave parties at state palace theater witnessing acts such as Frankie Bones, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, AK-1200, DJ Dara, Uberzone, DJ Icey, and many more. Falling in love with electronic music he began to DJ. A few years later in 2001 the New Orleans rave scene pioneered by Disco Donnie came to a screeching halt. The lack of outlets for DJ-ing pointed the way for SpaceDisco to begin dabbling music production and visiting recording studios. Producing beats and networking in the local rap scene, SpaceDisco teamed up with Reg Harris forming the production duo “2 Deep Music.” Together they opened “sound city studios” recording and producing acts such as “Black Menace, B.G., Juvenile, UTP Skip and Wacko, C-Murder, Akon, Snoop Dogg and more. After years of studio life, SpaceDisco began to dive more into the mixing/mastering side of things spending the next 10 years perfecting his craft in all genres. In 2022, SpaceDisco decided to make a 90’s techno track for fun. By the time the track was finished, he knew it was the beginning of a new path. Now in 2026, SpaceDisco is well over 100 tracks in, varying from Techno to Breakbeat to Drum And Bass. No matter what genre he is producing, there is always heavy focus on melody. SpaceDisco has a passion for dreamy melodies coupled with deep and heavy baselines makes for a deadly combo that can be felt across his entire catalog.
