The UVU Cybersecurity Program is dedicated to preparing the next generation of security professionals through immersive, hands-on learning experiences.

We host technical competitions, Hack The Box CTF events, ethical hacking workshops, and applied cybersecurity challenges that mirror real-world attack and defense scenarios. Students gain practical experience in secure coding, penetration testing, IoT security, risk assessment, digital forensics, and governance and privacy.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations — equipping students with the mindset, technical skill, and ethical foundation required to defend today’s digital infrastructure.
