Scotland’s longest-running dedicated jazz venue and Edinburgh’s legendary home for live music. Now a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, it champions local artists and the city’s grassroots music scene. Reopened in 2024 after a community-led rescue, The Jazz Bar hosts live shows every day — from intimate jazz evenings to late-night funk and soul sessions — and now welcomes younger audiences too, with family-friendly daytime gigs and kids’ music shows.
