Transfer Eventbrite account ownership

If you need to transfer an Eventbrite account to someone else, update the email address on the account to their email address. To get started, go to Account Settings and select Change Email. Then select Change under the current email address. Enter the new email and your current password, and select Save.

Limitations

  • Your account email address can only be changed to an email that isn't associated with an existing Eventbrite account. If the email you want to change to is already in use, the account owner will need to either change their account email address or close their account to free up the email address for use on your account.

  • There's no way to merge Eventbrite accounts.

  • Events and Organizations can’t be transferred between Eventbrite accounts.

1. Go to your Account Settings.

Log in  to your Eventbrite account. Then go to Account Settings .

2. Select "Change Email."

3. Change the account email address.

Select Change and enter the new email address for the account. Then enter the current account password.

4. Select "Save."

After saving your changes, a success message indicating that the email address on the main account has been updated will appear. You’ll also receive an email from noreply@event.eventbrite.com confirming the change.

The new account owner can visit eventbrite.com/reset-password  to change the password and log in.
