Organizing an event

Tickets are still available, but people are on the waitlist. What should I do?

This is a precautionary measure in place to ensure the event does not oversell. If all tickets are currently registered to attendees via completed orders and/or tied to pending orders, the next person who reaches the event listing will be able to sign up for the waitlist. If the waitlist registration completes, but any orders tied to pending registrations do not, the event listing should remove the waitlist option and return the option for attendees to register normally.

Do nothing.

People will only be asked to sign up for the waitlist if tickets are not available. If all tickets are claimed, your event should be "sold out" and there is no need to offer further registration.

NOTE: Refunding an order makes the number of tickets on the order available for registration, the waitlist option will be removed when you issue a refund.

Manually release tickets to people on the waitlist.

If someone's signed up to the waitlist and you decide to extend an offer to register, you can manually release tickets and surpass the ticket quantity set for your tickets (as well as the overall event/total capacity).

NOTE: Be careful not to oversell your event by releasing more tickets to people on your waitlist than your event's location can accommodate.
