Requirements

You must own the images and videos you upload or have permission from the copyright holder(s) to use them. Images and videos in your event's carousel must also meet the following requirements.

Add images and videos to your event's carousel

The media carousel appears at the top of your event page. For best results, add at least one image that showcases your event's appeal.

1. Go to 'Build event page.'

Log in to your account and go to Events . Select your event to go to your event dashboard. Then select Build event page.

2. Add your image.

Select Upload image and select an image from your device.

3. Select your focus point.

Once you’ve selected your image, choose a focus point within the image by dragging it. If your image is not 2:1 (twice as wide as it is tall), your focus point will be used to crop your image for your event listing.

Your focus point is also used to create a square thumbnail that will appear in Eventbrite search results.

After you select your focus point, review the preview images to confirm your image appears correctly. Then save your changes.

4. Optional: Add additional images and select a cover image.

Select the plus box to upload more images.

You can drag and drop images to rearrange their order. The first image in your row is your cover image, which is used to create your event thumbnail.

5. Optional: Add a video.

Select Upload video and choose your video file.

Your video will appear in the carousel with your event images. If you don't have an event image, your video thumbnail will be displayed in search results.

Once uploaded, your video will be reviewed for moderation purposes. It can take up to 24 hours for your video to be approved.

Change the images and videos in your event's carousel

You can update the images and video you uploaded at any time. To change the media in your carousel:

• Return to Build event page.

• Select the current media carousel.

This will display the upload and edit tools again.

• Select an image from the carousel to focus on it. Then hover over it or tap it (on mobile) to edit or delete it.

• Select the trash can icon next to a video to delete it.

Add images and videos to your event overview

Media in your event overview appears below your event details on your event listing. You can rearrange the text, images, and videos by dragging and dropping the two-line icon next to your overview text, images, and videos.
