Organizing an event
Create a timed entry event
Timed entry events are events with specific time slots that have their own start and end times. To create a timed event entry, use Eventbrite's recurring event feature. This lets you create a schedule with multiple time slots.
NOTE: This version of recurring events is only available for organizers in the United States or Canada. If you're not in the United States or Canada, follow these steps instead to create a recurring event.

Use recurring events to create an event with time slots
With Eventbrite's new recurring events experience, you can create events with multiple time slots. To get started, create a new event and select Recurring event (under Date & Time). Learn more about how to set up a recurring event in Eventbrite's new recurring event experience.
Navigate your recurring event
Each recurring event includes a recurring event overview and dashboards for each time slot. The overview shows general information about your event while the dashboards show information specific to their time slot.
Recurring event overview
The default view is the recurring event overview. This overview includes details about your event in general. It also allows you to make changes to your event. Start here if you want to update important event details like your overall event’s location and description.
To get to your recurring event overview:
Sign in on Eventbrite.
Go to Events .
Search and select your recurring event.
Event dashboard
Each time slot shown on your recurring event overview has its own dashboard. This dashboard shows information about that specific time slot, such as ticket count and recent orders.
From your recurring event overview, select a time slot to go its event dashboard.
Create customized tickets
By default, any ticket types you create will be available across your event on each time slot. However, when you create tickets, you can choose to make them visible only on specific time slots. You can also go to Manage dates and times to customize the price and availability of tickets on specific time slots.
This means you can create ticket types or discounts on certain time slots but not others. Learn how to create and customize ticket types on recurring events.
Host your event
Once your event is published, sell tickets by sharing a link to your event listing. When attendees visit your event listing, they'll select a time slot and choose tickets. Attendees can only register for one time slot at a time, and their tickets only grant admission to that time slot.
Before your event, set up the Organizer app to scan tickets. When it's time for your event, open the Organizer app and select a time slot. Then scan in tickets with the app. Only tickets for that time slot will scan successfully, which keeps attendees from checking in on the wrong time slot.
If you need to check in attendees on a different time slot, select the date and time at the top of your app screen. Then select your desired time slot.
