How do I remove someone from the waitlist?

You can remove a prospective attendee from the waitlist by clicking Manage Waitlist (on the Manage page, below Order Options). If you release a ticket to someone on your waitlist, you can only delete them after the "ticket release" email has expired (based on the “time to respond” you set before they were added to the waitlist).

  • 1. Go to your Manage page.
  • 2. Choose Manage Waitlist (under Order Options).
  • 3. Select people to remove from the waitlist.
  • 4. Click Delete (at the bottom of the waitlist).

Event creators can log into their Eventbrite account here. Then select your event.

2. Choose Manage Waitlist (under Order Options).

PRO TIP: If your event has multiple dates and times, you can remove waitlisted attendees when managing all events or individual events in your event schedule. To remove waitlisted attendees for a specific event, first choose a date at the top of the page.

3. Select people to remove from the waitlist.

On the Manage Waitlist page, review the list of people that signed up for the waitlist. Select the box next to their information to delete them from the waitlist.

NOTE: Each entry on the waitlist corresponds to one ticket to your event.

4. Click Delete (at the bottom of the waitlist).
