Request an Instant Payout

If you're an organizer in the US, you may qualify for Instant Payouts. Instant Payouts allow you to request and receive a portion of your event payout instantly before your event. To find out if you qualify, go to your event dashboard and look for Get paid instantly. If you qualify, select it and enter the payout amount you want to receive. A 3% fee is applied to all Instant Payouts and the funds appear in your bank account within 30 minutes.

Understanding Instant Payouts

Instant Payouts allow you to request a specific amount of your ticket sales before your event. The funds are deposited into your account within 30 minutes. You can get Instant Payouts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year up until your event ends.

Availability

At this time, Instant Payouts are available to certain organizers in the US. Your event must:

  • Be live (not ended)

  • Use $USD as its currency

  • Have an available event balance of at least $10

  • Use a direct deposit payout method that has successfully received a payout in the past

Additional security validations may limit availability. To confirm you can receive Instant Payouts, go to your Event Dashboard. If you don’t qualify for Instant Payouts, you can choose to receive funds weekly or bi-weekly leading up to your event.

NOTE: Event and account eligibility may vary over time.

Fees for Instant Payouts

You will be charged a 3% fee applied to the payout amount requested, with a minimum fee of $2.99 and a maximum fee of $40.00. This fee is automatically deducted from your available payout amount.

Request an Instant Payout

Before requesting an Instant Payout, select a payout method for your event that you’ve already received a payout from. Then:

  1. Go to Events and select your event.

  2. On your event dashboard, select Get paid instantly

  3. Enter the amount you want to withdraw.

  4. Review your payout details and select Send

Deposits may take up to 30 minutes to show in your account. Like all payouts, these are subject to third-party delays. All Instant Payouts are reviewed and could be declined, delayed, or blocked if an issue is identified. For more information, please read the Merchant Agreement.

Withdrawal limits

Eventbrite applies a cap and a reserve to the total amount of pre-event payouts you can receive across events in your organization. The maximum amount of your available payout you can receive in each Instant Payout is $10,000.

Any funds not included in pre-event payouts will be sent in your events' final payouts.

Payout reserve

Eventbrite will hold 20% of your event’s net sales (calculated on a per-payout, per-event basis) to cover potential attendee refunds, chargebacks, and cancellations. You can request up to 80% of your event’s net sales in an Instant Payout.

If the amount of your available payout for an event falls below 20% of your event’s net sales, you won’t be able to get an Instant Payout until you sell more tickets for that event.

Eventbrite sends your final payout 3 days after you have successfully completed your event.  Any amount held in reserve leading up to your event will be included in your final payout.

Payout cap

A payout cap is the total amount of funds Eventbrite will send across all events in your organization before your event(s) end.

You’re able to receive up to $100,000 USD (or the equivalent in your currency) of your payouts across all live events in your organization. This cap applies to all payouts before your final event payout, including Instant Payouts and payouts from your payout schedule.

This is a “rolling” cap that adjusts as you complete events. Once an event ends and Eventbrite sends your final payout, the amount paid out for that event no longer counts toward the cap.
