10:00 - 11:30 BEfriend. Responding with self-compassion
An interactive presentation that celebrates your successes, challenges, and how to cultivate a more compassionate response to difficulties. Includes an exploration of why befriending our experience can support, enhance and maintain wellbeing.
11:30-12:30 BEfriend: compassionate bodycare
Ana will be sharing ways to take good care of your vessel: the body that allows us to do all we want in life. What can you do to give it good maintenence? Let's chat about what our body needs and put it into practical hands-on action with compassionate self-masssage, tension release, restorative poses, and gentle breath work. Bring comfortable clothes.
About the facilitator:
Maria Perkins is a Compassion Based Mindfulness teacher, facilitator, coach, supervisor and event creator who is passionate about enhancing wellbeing by cultivating kinder connections to self, other, and nature.
