Trainers

Kate Rand

an experienced HR Leader, facilitator and training designer across the US & UK, focused on early stage companies. Kate is an empathetic facilitator who can step beyond the “do as i say not as i do” of the standard trainer, because she’s lived it. She can provide real world solutions and examples to leadership challenges as she has herself led teams from 2 to 150 during her career, mostly in retail and hospitality with all of the thrills and spills that brings. She also dislikes wasting time in any form, so sessions are guaranteed to be value packed.

Having previously studied work psychology & undergoing a further MSc in psychology, she offers a refreshing perspective, leveraging psychological theory to increase team and individual performance. When she’s not riding the Threads wild wave she keeps her facilitation skills sharpened as a facilitator for the agile HR community, where she has trained hundreds of senior level HR professionals across the world to transform their operating models.

Riina Hellström

the Founder of Agile HR Community, an Enterprise Agile Coach and one of the true Agile HR pioneers. She’s held CHRO and HR Director positions in listed companies. She is an Agile transformation leader working with global multinationals, national public sector entities and regional mid-sized companies.

She has trained thousands of people in Agile HR, Agile management, Product Ownership in the non-IT context and Scrum Masters in the non-IT context. She has been working with HR teams and executive teams, defining their Agile operating model and tailoring the approaches in different industries and business situations.
