Imagine 2025 is a two-day event in Tampere, Finland (May 27–28), bringing together startups and city decision-makers from the USA, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Turkey, and Finland to explore the future of urban innovation - also known as the ‘Cityverse’. Startups working in mobility, safety, citizen engagement, or sustainability can showcase their solutions and connect directly with city leaders, investors, and industry experts to spark real-world pilot projects. The event features pitching opportunities at the Founder Stage and Innovation Lounges, along with a matchmaking platform for 1:1 meetings.

Imagine 2025 is organised by the City of Tampere with the support of BABLE Smart Cities, Business Tampere, Platform6, Startup.Tampere, ArcticStartup Events, and Tech Nordic Advocates.

Urban Imaginarium Afterwork is an official Imagine 2025 side event — and a crowd favourite for good reason. Held at Platform6, Tampere’s buzzing startup house, it’s where the day’s speakers, attendees, founders, investors, corporates, policy-makers, and ecosystem builders all end up once the main stage lights go down.

It’s easygoing and electric — rooftop views at sunset, ice-cold drinks, and classic hot dogs (because some things are sacred). A few quick welcome words, then you’re off — into conversations that actually matter, and meetings you didn’t plan but are glad happened.

On the soundtrack: DJ Sami, local legend and trusted curator of all things groove, soul, and glitter. When the time’s right (and it always is), karaoke kicks off — loud, off-key, and kind of perfect.

It’s the kind of night where Tampere shows its true colours. Come for the vibe. Stay for the chaos.

About Platform6

Platform6 is a startup house in the heart of Tampere that opened its doors on the 1st of October in 2020. It offers startups a structured growth path along with a curated space, peer support, global networks and carefully selected services & programmes that help startups at all stages (from ideation to international expansion)grow, scale and access private investments, public funding, mentors, strategic partners, corporates, top talent, customers, etc.

As of now, we have 70+ startups, 7 organisations, 200+ members, and 5 startup programmes, working and running from Platform6 as well as 20 partners to support the startup growth. It is operated by a coalition of startups Tampere Startup Hub and supported by The City of Tampere.
