Sustainable Smart Cities Webinar
Event Information
About this Event
Modern cities are complex ecosystems combining multiple actors, people, processes, policies, and technology. In a city ecosystem, the outcomes are rarely owned by just a single party, instead, multiple parts of the ecosystem have to collaborate and combine their services.
But it is improved and automated cooperation between actors in the city value chain that results in energy, material, and air quality savings, and finally creates the foundation for a Sustainable Smart City.
In this event, we will hear experts from different slices of the Smart City ecosystem share their insights about smart traffic, construction, recycling, and more.
Speakers:
- Nohman Awan, Digital Construction Lead (Midlands) at Balfour Beatty plc - Digital Circular Economy application in the Construction Industry
- Reko Lehti, Executive Partner at Taival presenting – Case Smart&Clean – Plastics Ecosystem Operating & Data Model
- Marianne Tikkanen, Co-Founder at Puro.earth carbon removal marketplace
- Janne Lautanala, Chief Ecosystem and Technology Officer at Fintraffic - Ecosystem Cooperation in Traffic

The event is organized by Taival - a new type of advisory company working at the intersection of strategy, technology, design, and circular economy. We believe consulting as we know it doesn't work. That's why we use an untraditional approach: dynamic, co-creative, and outcome-oriented.
