Think your signature drink has what it takes to impress both the coffee industry and the home crowd? Ready to sling something tasty, bold and dairy-free? Then it’s time to sign up for the Sig Drink Sling! If you’re there to cheer on your favorite barista, register as well.

After a buzzing debut in London, Oatly and Giraffe are bringing this creative drink competition to Rotterdam and we’re looking for all beverage artists to show us what they’ve got.

What’s the deal?

During a creative night of competition, you will present your signature drink in 5 minutes to both a professional jury and the audience. They will vote on flavor, creativity, presentation, and ease/do-ability. We will send competitors an package box with Oatly products & Giraffe coffees to start experimenting with!

The Rules:

To compete, your drink must follow these guidelines:

• No alcohol allowed in your drink
• Must include at least one Oatly product and at least one Giraffe coffee element
• Make sure your drink can be easily served in a bar setting
• Presentation counts. We eat (and drink!) with our eyes first
• Bring 2 of your own glasses: one for the industry jury, one for the public jury
• Prepare 1 liter of your signature drink in a jug – we’ll be serving this to the crowd (this one is about taste, not about looks)

The winner from the professional panel round and the audience favourite round will go head-to-head in a 15 minute round that will test their ability to improvise and come up with the most delicious signature drink from a mystery ingredients table. It's then down to the judging panel to decide on our final winner.

In it to win it? When you win the Sig Drink Sling you are going home with 2 combi tickets to Depot + Renilde. Depot is a diverse art collection in one of Rotterdam's most characteristic buildings. After a tour through the collection you can go upstairs to enjoy a 4-course meal prepared by Jim de Jong, one of Rotterdam’s most creative young chefs.
