About this event
Red Brick and Wave Ventures bring you an opportunity to pitch to investors and get feedback. The event is a good fit for pre-seed startups looking to raise funds in the near future. There will be 10 startups pitching. Join us for pitching or hearing pitches from founders hitting the stage and networking with startups and investors.
Our special guest is SILTA who takes startup entrepreneurs from Finland to San Francisco Bay Area. They will tell more about their program and how it helps startups build globally successful companies.
The agenda is simple and straightforward:

PITCHING CRITERIA & FORMAT
You can book a pitching slot if you are:
- Part of Red Brick or Platform6 community
- Team of 2 or more founders
- A launched or soon-to-be launched product/service
- Planning to raise funds
Pitching format is 2 min pitching + 5 min feedback. Maximum of 5 slides (problem, solution, team and roadmap/call-to-action).

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
Red Brick is the leading pre-seed startup accelerator in the Tampere region on a mission to help startups grow all the way to first customers and first investments.
Wave Ventures is the largest independent student-run VC in Europe, backed by the Nordic unicorn Founders, supporting the most ambitious young entrepreneurs with the boldest visions. From the first 1.5M€ fund raised in 2017, Wave made 28 pre-seed investments in top Nordic startups such as Normative, Carbo Culture and Brick. They are currently launching the second fund of 2M€, which will be targeted to back the most promising entrepreneurs in the earliest stage of their founder journey.
Silta is a program that takes Finnish early-stage entrepreneurs to the San Francisco Bay Area for three months to build their companies and immerse them into the vibrant and lively culture of the San Francisco Bay Area.
