It's time for the second annual Pride Game Jam HKI! Let's jam July 2-4 of 2021!

Pride Game Jam HKI - is a three day game jam that celebrates LGBTQIA+ people by creating a safe space for expressing one's gender, sexual and romantic experience through art, music and of course games!

The event is part of Helsinki Pride Week 2021, and is organized by Finnish Game Jam ry in partnership with Helsinki Pride ry. Last year our jam ran as a hybrid jam, and this year we’re fully online - with panel talks, workshops and speakers streamed directly to you through twitch! Be ready to celebrate with us, and get delighted with our ✨care package✨ to set the jamming mood (please sign up by June 22 if you want the care package) !

Pride Game Jam HKI is taking place on 2-4 July 2021. The event aims to educate on LGBTQIA+ experiences, and help budding game devs to learn key skills in teamwork, design, and familiarize with relevant software! Everyone is welcome, including allies, regardless of skill level and background!

The main platform for the jam is our Discord server, to which you will be invited after registration. Game submissions will be through itch.io. Please familiarize yourself with the event's code of conduct before signing up.

PS. You are not obliged to sign up using your legal name, but in that case we would like to be able to verify you are an actual person (for example through a video call). Also if you feel uncomfortable giving us your address through Eventbrite, but would like the swag, please contact us to find alternatives.
