As we approach the Lunar New Year – Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026,
Phuc Lam Temple respectfully announces the schedule of prayer ceremonies and volunteer activities as follows:

May all devotees arrange their time to join in these sacred gatherings and begin the new year with blessings, peace, and wholesome aspirations.

🌿 Pre–Lunar New Year Ceremonies

Tuesday, February 10, 2026 (23rd day of the 12th Lunar Month) – 18:00
Traditional Offering Ceremony to Heavenly Deities, Earth Guardians, and the Kitchen Gods, according to Vietnamese custom.

Saturday, February 14, 2026 (27th Lunar Day) – 10:00
Temple cleaning and decoration to prepare for the New Year.
Volunteers are warmly welcome to help beautify the temple.

🌸 New Year’s Eve & Early Lunar New Year Ceremonies

Monday, February 16, 2026 (29th Lunar Day)

• 17:00 – Repentance Ceremony (Hong Danh Sam Hoi) to conclude the old year
• 19:00 – New Year’s Eve Ceremony: Welcoming the New Year, praying for blessings, prosperity, and peace.
  Receiving the first spring blessings.

Tuesday, February 17, 2026 (1st Day of the Lunar New Year)

• 18:00 – Opening Ceremony of the Medicine Buddha Sutra Chanting and Lamp Offering
  Prayers for national peace, harmony, and happiness.

From this day onward, the Medicine Buddha Sutra will be chanted daily at 18:00 until March 4, 2026 (16th day of the 1st Lunar Month) – Completion Ceremony.

🌼 Special New Year & Full Moon Ceremonies

Saturday, February 21, 2026 (5th Lunar Day) – 11:00
New Year Blessing Ceremony and Spring Gathering.

Tuesday, March 3, 2026 (Full Moon of the First Lunar Month)

• 16:00 – Food Offering Ceremony (Thí Thực)
• 18:00 – Star Offering & Karmic Purification Ceremony
  Prayers for family peace, protection from illness, and auspicious blessings.

Wednesday, March 4, 2026 (16th Lunar Day) – 18:00
Completion Ceremony of the Medicine Buddha Sutra Chanting.

⚠ Important Note

During the Lunar New Year (29th, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lunar days),
at 16:00 daily, there will be food offerings for the ancestral spirits honored at the temple.

Phuc Lam Temple respectfully invites all devotees and friends to participate according to your availability and devotion.
