Overview

Online lecture series for intercultural couples exploring identity, conflict, closeness, and emotional safety

Relationships across cultures can be deeply enriching and deeply challenging. This online lecture series invites intercultural couples to pause, reflect, and better understand what happens inside a relationship when identity, emotions, conflict, parenting differences, and life changes come into play.

Across eight lectures in 2026, we explore how emotional connection is built, strained, repaired, and sustained over time. The series offers thoughtful perspectives and practical insights that support understanding, emotional safety, and long term closeness in everyday relationship life.

The lectures are reflective, relatable, and grounded in real relationship experiences. You are welcome to attend the full series or join individual lectures.

Lectures in English on Thursdays, 18.00–18.45, online

Lecture schedule for spring 2026:

26 March 2026
Good Intentions, Real Hurt
Why love does not prevent emotional damage

23 April 2026
Closeness Is Not the Same for Everyone
Distance, safety, and emotional needs

21 May 2026
When Talking Makes Things Worse
Why communication sometimes fails

The lectures complement each other, but can also be attended individually. Lectures are not recorded, and materials are sent only to participants.
