Girls in Tech: Building your Tech career in Finland

Are you interested in tech industry or have experience in working in the industry? Are you considering to build a career in Finland? Living in a new country is exciting but also a challenge. It is even more so when you are looking for your first job or next career steps.

This seminar focuses on how to build the right network and career in Finland for women with international backgrounds.

Our speakers are

Inga Chernova is a CEO in The Shortcut. After arriving in Finland and searching for a job she heard about The Shortcut where she fell in love with the world of startups after coming from a corporate background. She started as a volunteer and now leads the company as the CEO.

Erica Terranova is an international talent living in Finland. She is a Growth Marketing Lead at Moomin Characters utilizing her years of experience in B2B and B2C Marketing. After completing her PhD in Cultural Sociology, Erica has worked at startups, scale-ups, and corporations before being the first foreigner to join Moomins, one of the most iconic Finnish brands. In addition to her job, Erica is involved in different DEI initiatives in Finland, among which DEI Forum Nordics, and supports international talent in Finland via various mentorship programs.
