ANTI-festivaalilla ensi-iltansa saa Kaino Wennerstrandin uusi teos Fixit.
Taiteilijan omin sanoin Wennerstrandin tähän saakka ”helposti paras teos” lähestyy taiteen keinoin EU:ta, Natoa ja kylmää sotaa ja historiaa ja teoriaa niiden takana. Luentoesitystä ja pop-musiikkia yhdistävä kokonaisuus avautuu yleisölle Scandic Kuopion Snellman-salissa pari-kolmetuntisena kokemuksena, jonka ajankohtaisuutta on vielä vaikea ennustaa.
Fixit esitetään festivaalilla kaksi kertaa. Paikkavaraus esityksiin avataan elokuun alussa.

Fixit by Kaino Wennerstrand premieres at ANTI – Contemporary Art Festival in Septmeber 2022. Fixit takes EU, Nato and Cold War as it’s objects and turns the history of Europe into art. Combining lecture and pop music the 2–3 hours experience opens to the audience at Scandic Kuopio’s Snellman hall as performance which topicality is hard to predict today. As Kaino Wennerstrand says: “Fixit is the best work I’ve ever done, no need to check the earlier, off-brand stuff”.
Fixit happens at ANTI two times. The bookings to all the festival performances opens at the beginning of August.
