🪖Foster the development of potential novel technologies and solutions within the defence sector by participating in this unique makeathon. 🎖️Makeathon organized by the Ministry of Defence Republic of Latvia and the National Armed Forces in cooperation with Riga Technical University (RTU) Science and Innovation Centre. The main goal of the makeathon is to foster the development of potential novel technologies and solutions within the sector of defence. 🪖The makeathon will address the 5 following thematic areas:•	development of unmanned systems•	armaments•	maintenance of combat equipment•	individual equipment systems and components for soldiers•	cybersecurity, as well as information and communication technologiesThis makeathon is organised as a team-based event. While individuals are invited to register for the event, all individual makeathon participants will be required to either form a team with other individual participants or join a pre-existing team. ❗If you wish to register as a team, then only one registration per team is required. The captain of the team fills out the registration form by entering all the requested data regarding the rest of the team. Teams can be composed of students, researchers, experienced innovations, and/or startup representatives – citizens of the Republic of Latvia, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the European Union, or the European Economic Area countries. Registrations should be submitted no later than 2022 December 5, 12:00 PM (EET). NB!
