<h1>M﻿eetup goes LLMs! </h1><p>Large language models have taken the world by storm. Their versatility makes them applicable in a range of solutions, starting from chatbots and writing code all the way to extracting valuable information from natural language and generating novel content.</p><p>The meetup will focus on discussing how LLMs are effectively used in different businesses and industries. Despite their strength, there are concerns around reliability, privacy, transparency, price and compute requirements of large language models. In the meetup, we will dive into these questions and learn how to make the most out of LLMs in business!</p><p>Join us on-site and online to meet other data professionals and enthusiasts. However, transparency, explainability and assessment of the data models has been in the core of EU AI Act and US AI Bill of Rights. In this presentation we&#x27;ll walk through why this is such a critical issue in the future of AI and why it is a generic topic, not related only to LLMs.</p><p>Harri Ketamo, Ph.D., is an entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence and game development. Currently he is founder &amp; chairman at Headai, the cognitive computing infrastructure for data interoperability and data driven decision making. Before Headai, Ketamo has been e.g. founder &amp; CEO of gameMiner (game AI), xTask (adaptive learning) and SkillPixels (serious games). </p><p><strong>Shreya Rajpal</strong>: Building Guardrails for large language models</p><p>There has been remarkable progress in harnessing the power of LLMs for complex applications. However, the development of LLMs poses several challenges, such as their inherent brittleness and the complexities of obtaining consistent and accurate outputs. In this presentation, we present Guardrails AI as a pioneering solution that empowers developers with a robust LLM development framework, enhanced control mechanisms, and improved model performance, fostering the creation of more effective and responsible applications.</p><p>Shreya is creator of Guardrails AI, an open-source solution designed to establish guardrails for large language models. As a founding engineer at Predibase, she helped build the Applied ML and ML infra teams. Previously, she worked at Apple&#x27;s Special Projects Group on cross-functional ML, and at Drive.ai building computer vision models.</p><p><strong>Sergei Häyrynen</strong>: LLMs in customer software deliveries</p><p>Language models enable many new software solutions, and can make existing ones more effective. LLMs can automate routine tasks and deliver tailored recommendations, bringing about improvements in productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall performance. On the other hand, we need to consider the customizability, privacy and performance of LLM-based solutions. In this talk, we explore our approach to integrating LLMs to software deliveries.</p><p>Sergei is the chief operating officer and one of the founders of Veracell, a company that specializes in AI and machine learning solutions. Sergei has years of experience in working with data in many fields, from healthcare to research. He leads customer projects at Veracell and makes sure that each project is executed with precision, meets the unique needs of the client, and results in exceptional customer satisfaction.</p><h3>Target</h3><p>Data infrastructure &amp; productivity meetups are free-of-charge, open events with the following targets:</p><ul><li>Improve the productivity of your data teams</li><li>L﻿earn best-practices for delivering high-quality machine learning projects</li><li>G﻿et familiar with state-of-the-art tools and methods around data infrastructure</li></ul><p>Working with data is demanding. Get insight into approaches for data infrastructure in different types of projects and how to effectively get results.</p><p>Events are hybrid, there is always an online presentation that you can follow remotely.
