Surraa Productions is a Non-profit organization from Finland that is focus on dance without borders. Work that can bring people together to learn from each other through dance. Organization is fund in 2014 and for now their 7th working year 2021-2022 they are focusing on producing wokrshops in Online as well in Finland for people who have danced before and want to learn more. With this Online series they will have workshops with teacher from overseas. This workshop with overseas teacher will be held with a dance artist from South Africa!

The new season will start with a new workshop! And this workshop is special !! Oscar is arriving from South Africa bringing us the Contemporary Dance - Afro Fusion workshop on 27.11.2021. Get more insight of African Contemporary dance style wiht Afro fusion. He will work on littel choreography during the workshop as well, which you have opportunity to peform at the Living Room Online performance evening on the same day at 18.00 Finnish time. This is not mandatory, but a really amazing opportunity!

People with a deep love know passion encompasses their entire being. This is Certainly true of Oscar Buthelezi born in the dusty township of Vosloorus. Now at the age of 29 he is blazing up stages around the world and locally with performance pieces that have already won him substantial recognition of international acclaim. Trained at Moving Into Dance and being part of the company as a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer and facilitator. Oscar has been choreographing and wowing audiences across the globe. among his awards and accolades is Kurt Jooss international award for choreography 2016, Youth Excellence from Ekurhuleni minister2017,33rd choreography international competition 2019 and Naledi Award 2019 for the Color Purple SA musical. Currently working on his new Productions in RSA and with Robyn Orlin in France and been appointed as the new Associate Artistic Director of Moving Into Dance.

Surraa Productions on voittoa tavoittelematon yhdistys, joka on keskittynyt tanssiin ilman rajoja. Työ, joka voi tuoda ihmiset yhteen oppimaan toisiltaan tanssin kautta. Järjestö on perustettu vuonna 2014 ja nyt 7. kautena 2021-2022 he keskittyvät tuottamaan työpajoja verkossa aiemmin tanssineille. Tämän Online-sarjan avulla he järjestävät työpajoja ulkomailta tulleiden opettajien kanssa. Tämä työpaja ulkomaisen opettajan kanssa järjestetään tanssitaiteilijan kanssa Etelä-Afrikasta!
