About this Event

Our clinical tDCS workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with experts, professionals and others interested in the therapeutic applications of tDCS.

This event is suited to psychiatrists, doctors, researchers, and nurses interested in applying transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and in learning more about and discussing the technique.  

Participants will receive a training certificate.

Friday, 6 September 2019: 9.00-16.30.

Lunch will be served at noon, with coffee breaks in-between sessions. Both lunch and coffee are included in the participation fee. There will be a networking event with drinks and snacks after the official program.

1. Margus Lõokene MD, PERH Tallinn

Margus is Estonia's leading expert in neuromodulation. He is a board member for the Nordic Association of Convulsive Therapies (NACT) and involved with ECT and tDCS in his daily work. Margus applies clinical tDCS in both public and private practice with excellent results.

2. Noora Scheinin MD, PhD, Turku University Hospital

One of the young stars in Finnish neuromodulation and brain research. Noora is an Adjunct Professor and Clinical lecturer of Psychiatry in University of Turku. She is also a part of Finnish National Centre of Excellence for Neuromodulation.

3. Tuomas Neuvonen MSc, CEO, Sooma Oy

Tuomas is the co-founder and CEO of Sooma Oy. He is one of Finland's leading professionals when it comes to science of tDCS. Tuomas has made an extensive career with Brain Stimulation and can discuss the topic for however long you want.
