Beyond Borders: ARTO in Tbilisi with Georgian Masters of Free Improv

The summer session of the XIV International Festival of Contemporary Experimental and Ethnо-Avant-Garde Art "Noumen Art" continues the series of events that took place this spring. This time we will see a concert by the legendary US multi-instrumentalist of Armenian descent, GRAMMY Award winner Arto Tuncboyachyan in collaboration with outstanding Georgian musicians - Reso Kiknadze (saxophone) and Guram Machaviriani (guitar). The concert will be held in the format of free improvisation

The musicians, who have extensive experience, will create their musical performans live, not knowing in advance what they will play on stage. Arto Tuncboyacıyan has collaborated with notable musicians including Chet Baker, Al Di Meola, Joe Zawinul, Paul Winter, Serj Tankian, Sezen Aksu, Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Yaşar Kurt, Marc Johnson, Ara Dinkjian, Paul Motian, Simon Nabatov, Hank Roberts and others. His work spans jazz, folk, rock, and world music, including recordings with the Armenian Navy Band and over 200 albums in Europe

In Tbilisi, Arto's performance with Reso Kiknadze and Guram Machaviriani promises a synergy never seen before.
