ASM Game Jam returns to Assembly Summer 2026!! 👻🕹️
What is a Game Jam? A unique event that brings together game creators, from professional developers to amateurs, students and hobbyists to innovate with new games in a limited time. Typically you'll work in a small group, racing to produce a completed game (or close to being complete) using limited time and resources but unlimited creativity.
ASM Game Jam 26 will have a theme that works as a starting point for jamming inspiration. With the aid of a theme, you'll choose your preferred tool or set of tools and you'll be set to start Jamming. You can choose the technology for your jam game as you wish, and you can either come with a team or join teams with other jammers! ASM Game Jam 26 will be held on-site, that means: bring your own computer and other equipment you will need. Also check out Assembly's official party guide for more packing information.

👻 Where is it? 👻 ASM Game Jam will happen at Assembly Summer 2026!
Assembly is one of the biggest computer, video game and demoscene festivals in Finland and its held at Helsinki Messukeskus! Find out more about it here!
👾 When is it? 👾 ASM Game Jam will happen from 30th of July to 2nd of August
The jam kicks off on Thursday with an opening ceremony and team formation in the afternoon. If you are not able to come on Thursday, you can also jump in on Friday!
🧩 How can I join? 🧩 You can participate by buying our ASM Game Jammer ticket.
The ticket includes a premium computer place from our ASM Game Jam table and all the premium access to the Assembly area and events happening there. You can find more about Assembly here!
And if you happen to already have Assembly Summer 2026 computer ticket, you can join the jam by getting the free ASM Game Jammer ticket!
