The Finnish Museum of Photographyis Finland's national specialized museum for photography. Through exhibitions, collection management, education, research, and a wide range of public and community programmes, the museum strives to promote and foster photographic art and culture in Finland. Founded on the initiative of Finnish photography organizations, the museum opened its doors in 1969 and is the oldest photography museum in Europe.

Katuvalokuvauskierros Katuvalokuvaus – mitä se on? Mikä hyvässä katuvalokuvassa on tärkeää? Katuvalokuvaus liittyy erottamattomasti valokuvauksen historiaan ja se on voimissaan tänäkin päivänä. Katuvalokuvauskierros opastaa katukuvauksen saloihin katukuvaaja Negin Hosseinin johdolla. Kierroksella kuljetaan Negin Hosseinin johdattamana Helsingin keskustassa, kuullaan hänen kuvausprosessistaan, lempipaikoistaan ja reiteistään ja saadaan vinkkejä aiheisiin, kuvakulmiin ja rinnastuksiin. Kierroksen kuluessa kuvataan omalla laitteella (kamera tai puhelin), opitaan uusia katsomisen tapoja tutuksikin käyneissä maisemissa ja inspiroidutaan ympäristöstä. &quot;We walk among entire universes every day. Capturing someone in a moment, existing in their universe and mine at the same time, is like making and documenting a connection that reminds us we’re not alone. When I take photos of people, I try to peek into their world - who are they, what are they feeling, what hopes and dreams do they have, what drives them? Of course, I can only guess. Mukaan otetaan 12 hlö/kierros ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä. Ilmoittautuminen aukeaa 2 viikkoa ennen tapahtumaa, ja sulkeutuu kun tapahtuma on varattu täyteen.HUOM!
