Shop Made Brands is a mission-driven retail initiative that serves as a platform for creativity -- enabling ideas, products and people to converge and drive traffic to neighborhoods while creating low-entry to market opportunities for makers and small retailers.Launched in DC in 2017 as a economic development experiment, we now have six DC locations and sister brands in Virginia and Maryland. Shop Made supports nearly 1000 makers and are home to over 10,000 MADE IN DC/VA and MARYLAND products including apothecary, apparel, art, furniture, jewelry, home decor and stationery.Making space for community and creating has always been a top priority. Since 2017, we have hosted over 4000 DIY classes.
