Concho Clay Studio - Fall Session 1

The 2023 Chamber Music Series and Play It Again Music Series are supported by funds from the Mayer Family in memory of Joyce Mayer, the San Angelo Cultural Affairs Council, and the City of San Angelo.

Join us for just one event or for the whole weekend! Our annual ceramics weekend includes workshops, family activities, exhibits, food, music, and more. The fun begins on Thursday, April 20 and continues through Sunday, April 23.

The San Angelo Chamber Music Series at SAMFA brings exceptional artists from across Texas and the nation to the Museum’s Grand Hall.

San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts presents the 26th San Angelo North American Ceramic Competition with juror Linda Gastrom and invited artist Marc Leuthold. Join us for a week of workshops, exhibit openings, and events.

The Concho Clay Studio offers regular 8 week ceramics classes for adults. This program is part of adult education outreach at SAMFA, all courses are for recreation, and beginners are welcome. Join our clay community!

Bring a date, friend, or family member and make something together! Concho Clay Studio at SAMFA hosts 2 date nights each month where you can make your own unique clay works of art. We also host Downtown Date Nights at different locations in San Angelo!

Summer Camps at SAMFA are BACK! Registration for Helping Hands opens March 25th at 10am. Helping Hands is a family learning program that is designed for 3-6 year olds. Sessions will be one hour long on Saturday mornings, 10:30 am - 11:30 am

In this new series, Director Seth Hopkins will interview songwriters about their writing methods and the inspirations behind their most popular songs. The writers will also sing some of their favorite creations.

This collection includes class options and sign ups for Concho Clay Studio's Summer II Classes. These classes include open studio with demos, Colored Clay, and Platters and Surface Decoration.

The Concho Clay Studio at SAMFA hosts teen movie nights in the summer where you can make clay activities while watching fun classic films. Meet friends and make art while enjoying popcorn and snacks! These events are for ages 14-18 only.

The Concho Clay Studio hosts visiting artists from Texas and around the country to teach hands-on workshops in various clay techniques. Visit San Angelo for the weekend and make something with us!
